Liberal Arts welcomes Director of Development Frank Teplin

Frank Teplin joined the College of Liberal Arts as Director of Development in September. Teplin brings over 7 years of fundraising experience across the arts and sciences to the liberal arts team. He began his career working for nonprofit arts organizations before moving to development leadership roles in higher education.

Prior to joining the CLA team, Teplin was an Associate Director of Development in the Division of Arts and Humanities at the University of California, San Diego, and most recently, Director of Development in the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis.

Teplin received his Bachelor of Arts from UC San Diego, with a major in theatre and a minor in mathematics. He began his career in marketing and communications before moving to development, and held positions at several noted arts organizations, including UC San Diego, the La Jolla Playhouse, the San Diego Symphony and the Old Globe Theatre.

Teplin is passionate about the liberal arts, and delighted to partner with such a wonderful group of faculty, colleagues, and donors here in the College of Liberal Arts at CSU.
