The College of Liberal Arts is honored and proud to congratulate three college recipients of this year's Distinguished Alumni Awards given on Oct. 12, 2017 during Homecoming & Family Weekend.
Polly Baca ('62, political science) received the Charles A. Lory Public Service Award for her more than 50 years of service in politics at the local, state, and national levels, working to help underrepresented populations.

Ann Gill (M.A. '76, speech arts) received the Jim and Nadine Henry Award for her 40-year impact at CSU as a student, teacher (communication studies), mentor and dean of the College of Liberal Arts.

Jim Vidakovich ('69, speech arts) received the College of Liberal Arts Distinguished Alumnus Award for his high level of achievement as media strategist, consultant, and executive coach. He currently is a member of the Liberal Arts Development Council, and was a member of the inaugural advisory board for the ACT Human Rights Film Festival.
